Who am I?

However, if you are curious, my name is Peter Timofejew, and I am a nerd. I’ve lived in Toronto, Canada for a good 20 years or so. Not surprisingly, I’ve come to call this city my home.
To keep me in the outlandish lifestyle that I’ve become accustomed to, I design market and credit risk management systems for the financial industry. Over the last few decades, I’ve called myself a paper boy, retail clerk, repair technician, systems administrator, programmer, software designer, systems architect, and manager. I hope one day to also call myself an astronaut.
When I’m not slaving for the man, I pretty much do what most other people do: hang out with friends, go to restaurants, become an alcoholic on weekends, enter into a string of dysfunctional relationships and failed marriages, do a bit of travelling, shoot a few photographs, and listen to music.
What’s here?
It’s a bit of a mixed bag on this site. You’ll see that I have a collection of photo albums. There are a few scattered thoughts throughout, and, some random crap that I’ve attempted to categorize. Try clicking on one or two of the pages listed in the sidebar.
Anything else?
There are a couple other sites I have created. One of them is for my company, Timofejew & Associates Ltd. The other site, finitesquid.com, is where I showcase a few of my photos on their own, with very little text.
Can I be contacted?
