Coloured Glass
I got a rather unexpected surprise today. The Toronto Image Works selected a second image of mine for their open house! Neat, eh? It’s the Coloured Glass picture from the Selected Images. I sent them a modified picture of what you’ll see here (cropped it a bit, and smoothed out the luminosity).
The other bit is that I’m seriously considering upgrading my Canon 20D to the new 5D (with the kit lens – the 24-105mm f/4L IS). Michael Reichmann wrote on his Luminous Landscape site that he’s really pleased with a pre-production 5D and the new lens (to the point where he’s purchasing one himself). It is a pretty pricey upgrade for me, though… it’s not a cheap camera, and I haven’t really pushed the boundaries of the 20D.
However, compared to my expenses over the last year, it’s not that much at all. And I’m sure to be infinitely more satisfied with the outcome.
